Dear Friend of Interfaith Health & Support Services,

The end of the year is fast approaching, and we have Seniors here in Southern Ocean County who are counting on your support.

This year has been especially difficult for some of our care receivers.

Recently, we received a call from Rose, who lives in an Active Adult community in Barnegat and experienced several household emergencies that stretched her fixed income. Her call to us led to setting up regular pick-ups from a local food pantry and enrolling her in our Ride for Health program so she could attend the weekly Lunch & Learn at the Library and Ken’s Kitchen. These services eased her financial hardship, and she now loves participating, meeting new friends, and socializing.

We also met Frank, a retired Army Veteran living in Little Egg Harbor, who recently lost his wife—the primary driver in their household. Due to declining eyesight, he is unable to drive and had to cancel vital medical appointments. When we met at the Senior Expo, I was able to share how wonderful our volunteer drivers are and how we could help him get transportation to see his cardiologist and pulmonologist. In just a few months, he has been able to attend all of his appointments, which has given him tremendous peace of mind.

Our unique and FREE services can only assist neighbors like Rose and Frank because of generous donations.

Will you please send in a gift by the end of this year, so that Frank can continue to see his doctors regularly and Rose can continue receiving a hot meal and participating in our Ride for Health programs?

We know the desire to stay healthy, safe, and happiest at home is vital to the well-being of all Seniors—especially those who have lived in or moved to this wonderful part of New Jersey.

Your gift helps support the work of Interfaith Health & Support Services of Southern Ocean County, Inc. It is especially important to give by December 31st so we can continue expanding transportation services, planning dynamic activities, and training more volunteers for 2026.

Your donation will support our 588 care receivers, including neighbors like Frank and Rose, who are living independently—and, thanks to donors, more confidently—in Ocean County.

Sincerely,
Amy Raimondi
Executive Director
